D. Ray Murphy is a Director and Shareholder with Abernathy, Roeder, Boyd & Hullett, P.C. Ray’s practice focuses on civil litigation, primarily commercial, construction, real estate, and employment cases. He has extensive experience in both jury and bench trials.

He has represented contractors, and subcontractors in construction disputes, employers and employees in employment disputes, including those involving non-competes; represented several businesses in business/contract disputes; pursued collection claims on behalf of creditors; represented landowners in complex title and boundary disputes and landlord-tenant disputes; and has significant construction defect cases.

He represents and advises several small to mid-size companies on formation, contractual and employment issues, acting as an on call “corporate counsel”, providing the same benefits as an in-house counsel at a more affordable rate.
